A weight of debt I could not pay

Grace undeserved poured over me

A King once called my endless debt,
Ten thousand lifetimes owed and set.
Fell trembling low, no hope to claim,
Yet mercy flowed, erased my shame.
He whispered gently, "Go your way,"
My burdens vanished, no delay.

Yet moments later, blinded sight,
I seized my brother—debt so slight.
I held him by his throat and cried,
"Pay now or face my wrath and pride!"
